So, it’s a little over two weeks into the new year. Excitement, wonder, and curiosity abound. We hope to experience peace and contentment in the immediate future; for me, the future is the rest of the day. But so much of our peace depends on how much we are willing to let go of. When the First Semester Doesn’t Work

You sniffle watching your kid pack some meaningful childhood belongings as you both move into the next full-blown chapter of your lives.  You load the car, and you help carry things into the dorm. You stock their little fridge, and watch them set up their dorm room. Maybe slip them a few twenties, turn around, and walk away from your soon-to-be anointed  “adult” college kid. You call a couple of times; they come home occasionally.
